Bigla Ko Lamang Naisip

Paano gagawin ng ANG LADLAD, kung saka sakali nga itong magtagumpay sa Eleksyon, na alisin ang discrimination against the gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders and transvestites, kung ang mga “heterosexuals” nga mismo ay nag didiscriminate sa sarili nilang gender?

Devanadera Misspelling

Ayoko nang isulat dito ang misspelling ng pangalan niya, gaya ng naisulat sa ABS-CBN sa report ni Purple Romero na pinamagatang “Political ties cast shadow on Devanadera’s bid for SC“. Doon sinabi niyang:

One of them was Agnes Devanadera whom she relied upon to check the votes. “The ballots used and election returns canvassed for the vice president were the same ballots and election returns for the president. Thus, aside from observing Noli’s vote — and Agnes Devanadera can tell you — our party lawyers are doing the same also, looking at the votes for the presidential candidates,” Arroyo said during the Lakas-CMD national directorate meeting in January 2006.

At the time, Devandera was government corporate counsel.

Alam kong hindi sinasadya ang pagkakamali dahil tama naman ang spelling ng ibang pangalan (niya).

Kakaibang Klaseng Pagbabalita

Sa mga naghahanap ng kakaibang klaseng pagbabalita, sa article na “Readers divided over Pacquiao-Krista ‘affair’” ng ABS-CBN mababasa ninyo ang mga “sabi ni ganoon “at “sabi ni ganito”. Literally para ka lang nagbabasa sa usapan sa CHATROOM o di kaya naman ay nakikinig sa usapang barbero.

Ito ang ilan sa mga linya ng “balita” :

Reader jjian_ph was demanding for a “concrete evidence” to prove the alleged affair.

jjian_ph commented: “All of you seem to like listening to rumors (mga tsismosa’t tsimoso). You all don’t know what will be the effect of your stupidity, and it only shows that you all want to destroy a happy family, that of the Pacquiaos.

“Our hero is truly famous and gave honor to our country but it seems that all of you are not happy. You’re all sick and don’t know how to appreciate the honor that Manny Pacquiao have given us Filipinos.”

Another reader, Psylom, also backed the people’s champ crab mentality remark.

“Huwag masyadong magpapaniwala sa mga tsismis. Huwag magpapadala sa mga sulatin na exaggerated. Tanggalin natin ang crab mentality. ‘Yon ang pangit na ugali ng Pinoy,” said Psylom.

Rag927 also lambasted those who are snooping into his private life.

Rag927 wrote: “Tama si manny in saying na kaya tau hindi umaasenso, kase mahilig tau makialam sa PERSONAL na buhay ng iba. pabayaan na natin sa kanila ni jinkee kung me personal problem sila. PAGTUUNAN nlng natin ng pansin ang KARANGALANG IBINIGAY SA BANSA ng isang MANNY PAQUIAO! (sic).”

Ito ba ang pangitain ng mas tumataas na kalidad ng pagbabalita?

Allegedly, Reported and Purportedly

The following lines are taken from an ABS-CBN News article. The underlines and emphases are mine.

• A former barangay chairman (village chief) allegedly shot a group of people [...]
• Three were immediately killed while two were wounded in the shooting incident allegedly perpetrated by Gregorio Manalo, a former chief of Barangay Santiago in Santa Maria [...]
• According to witnesses, the five were talking in a waiting shed about 17 kilometers from the town center. Manalo then reportedly arrived onboard a Mitsubishi L300 van.
• Allegedly Manalo immediately shouted invectives at the group in the waiting shed as he alighted from the van. He then allegedly shot them with a .45 caliber gun. After the incident, the former village chief reportedly returned to the van and fled.
• Manalo was purportedly accompanied by his children who were reportedly onboard the van.
• Police have launched a pursuit operation against Manalo and have reportedly installed checkpoints in the province.
• De Guzman, one of the survivors in the shooting, said he does not even know why Manalo shot them.

I am not so sure who wrote the report (EX-village chief allegedly shoots dead 3, wounds 2 in Laguna), but it sounds like full of allegations and “reports”. LOL.
